Apply for VA Benefits

  1. Apply for VA education benefits at www.gibill.va.gov
  2. Must be accepted to CTC
  3. Register for classes
  4. Submit certificate of eligibility to VA Office (Hartline Bldg. Room 151-A)

Tuition Assistance (TA)

Please remember that Tuition Assistance MUST be approved BEFORE the start date of the class. Accordingly, Service Members must request TA for courses no later than 7 days BEFORE the course start date.

1. If you have never used Tuition Assistance, please visit the Education Center to receive an ArmyIgnited 101 briefing 
2. Create an ArmyIgnitED account by logging onto https://www.armyignited.army.mil with your CAC
3. Contact Military Connected CTC counselor (Derrick Sands) for more information on programs and classes available and to finalize your educational goal
4. Apply for Admission & Register for classes thru CTC portal
5. Request TA for each class via ArmyIgnitED account. You can request TA for class up to 60 days prior to the term start date, however TA requests must be submitted NO LATER THAN 7 days prior to the class start date
6. Submit TA authorization form to CTC Registrar’s Office
