Columbus Technical College would like to congratulate the approximately 500 students who recently met the qualifications to graduate in June. That number included dozens of GED graduates – most of whom are continuing their education as Columbus Tech college students.

Loved ones filled the Civic Center to watch their special graduate – or graduates- walk across the stage.
So proud of our graduates!
Among the graduates were many students who soared academically. Honor graduates are those who complete their studies with a cumulative GPA of 3.80 or higher. Columbus Technical College is proud to recognize the 79 students who met this standard as well as the 32 (includes duplicates) who earned a spot on the coveted President's List by achieving a perfect 4.0 for the term while enrolled in a full load of classes. The most populous county in the College's service area, Muscogee, had eight students on the President's List and 31 honor graduates. Harris county had four President List honorees and nine honor graduates. Stewart County had one President's List recipient and two honor grads while Chattahoochee County had one President's List/honor grad.

During a special part of the ceremony, long time Local Board member and State court judge, Ben Richardson, was recognized for his many years of service to the college and the Technical College System of Georgia. Thank you Mr. Richardson for being such an amazing advocate of technical education!
