Welcome to the Columbus Technical College Adult Education Department.
The mission of the Adult Education Department is to equip students to obtain the GED®, or other high school equivalency credential, gain suitable employment, and/or enter into postsecondary education.
The skilled and experienced professionals in this office are here to help adult learners acquire the necessary skills in reading, writing, computation, speaking, listening, and technology to compete successfully in today’s global workplace. Services provided include free high school equivalency prep classes and English Language Learning.
If you are at least 16 years old and live in the six-county Columbus Tech service area (Muscogee, Harris, Talbot, Quitman, Stewart, or Chattahoochee), you are eligible to receive personalized attention from our experts. We will work with you no matter your level of learning – from beginner to advanced. We offer flexible scheduling and one-on-one educational experiences.
