Heartsaver First Aid with CPR / AED
The Heartsaver First Aid, CPR, and AED is designed to meet the needs of the first responder (i.e., police/security officer, daycare worker, coach, teacher, family member) as they assist a victim until medical help arrives.
Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid
Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid teaches participants how to manage illnesses and injuries specific to children in the first few minutes following an emergency until professional help arrives.
Heartsaver CPR / Automated External Defibrillation (AED)
This course provides instruction on the recognition and treatment of life-threatening emergencies (cardiac arrest, and choking for adults, children and infants). The session also includes the warning signs of heart attacks and strokes in adults, and the appropriate response for breathing difficulties in children.
CPR Anytime for Family and Friends
Intended for the general public, this course includes basic CPR skills, choking relief, and AED awareness. The session is a revolutionary way to learn core CPR skills using the “practice-while-watching” technique
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – Provider
This advanced course is designed for healthcare professionals who participate in the treatment of cardiovascular emergencies. The class includes the core foundations of ACLS, evaluating and managing the first 10 minutes of cardiac arrest, airway management, types of cardiac arrest, and pre-arrest emergencies
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – Renewal
This course satisfies educational requirements for individuals who have a current ACLS card.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS
The PALS Provider Course aims to improve outcomes for pediatric patients by preparing healthcare providers to effectively recognize and intervene in patients with respiratory emergencies, shock, and cardiopulmonary arrest. The course includes a series of case scenario practices with simulations that reinforce important concepts.
Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition and Stabilization
PEARS teaches providers how to recognize respiratory distress, shock and cardiac arrest, and provide appropriate lifesaving interventions within the initial minutes of response until the child is transferred to an advanced life support provider. The goal of PEARS is to improve the quality of care provided to seriously ill or injured infants and children, resulting in improved outcomes.
Basic Life Support /Heartsaver – Instructor Combination
Must hold BLS health care provider card
Participants learn basic instructional techniques, principles, and cardiac life support skills. The course is designed to prepare an instructor to teach the science, skills and philosophy of HeartSaver courses.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – Instructor
The American Heart Association Instructor Course is designed to prepare participants to teach American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) courses. An ACLS Provider card, teaching experience and the Instructor Core Certificate are required.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) – Instructor
The American Heart Association Instructor Course is designed to prepare participants to teach American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) courses. A PALS Provider card, teaching experience and the Instructor Core Certificate are required.
IV Therapy & Sedation
This course teaches medical professionals the foundations of IV Therapy— starting, maintaining, and removing the IV, and safety practices. This class is taught in accordance with the National Intravenous Society guidelines.
Bloodborne Pathogens
This four-hour course applies to the healthcare industry and combines basic disease pathology with disease transmission and prevention techniques.
